Jill Hoopes LSCSW, LCAC

With over 25 years of experience in mental health services, Jill has dedicated more than a decade to working at a community crisis center, specializing in suicide prevention, trauma support, psychosis, personality disorders, severe persistent mental illness, and addiction recovery. Her expertise extends beyond crisis intervention—she has also provided vital services to birth and adoptive families, managed a grief support agency, consulted on integrated care at a safety net clinic, coordinated senior volunteer programs, and supported victims of DUI-related crimes.

Prior to joining The Caring Center of Wichita, Jill worked extensively in correctional settings, providing assessments and treatment for incarcerated individuals. She also played a pivotal role in expanding behavioral intervention services at a state university and served as the student wellness director at a local college. Currently, Jill is also a part of the Family Advocacy Program at McConnell Air Force Base, continuing her mission to promote mental wellness and compassionate care.

As a mother of four children who have faced serious medical challenges and a recent cancer survivor herself, Jill understands firsthand the unpredictability of life and the importance of comprehensive care. Her approach is rooted in empathy, offering a judgment-free space where individuals can explore their options, develop effective coping techniques, and build a path toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
